Keep It Moving Inc, a primary provider of education services for disadvantaged parents and children in Michigan, is requesting speakers for its upcoming annual conference at Marcus Garvey Academy for middle school students.
Dr. Mary L. Gaskins, executive director of Keep It Moving, Inc., said the goal of the June 29th conference is to intervene in the lives of the students and help them reach their full potential. Interested parties may contact her at (313) 649-2876. “So many of our children are robbed of their youth because of the destructive impact of drug abuse,” Dr. Gaskins explained. “Our goal is the help them escape from those dangers and put them on a path to success.” The Cleanup was a “home run”! KIM would like to thank KAB, KDB, Motor City Makeover, BFD, TCC, ACT, Waste Management and everyone who took part in this event. Special thanks to Waste Management for donating us dumpsters for the trash, ACT for endorsing us with the Constellation grant, and TCC for their hard work and leadership skills.
